Johnson County Public Health is providing the following opportunity for partner Public Health agencies to participate in POD activities. Please contact Steven if you are interested in attending: Johnson County Public Health is planning for a Flu Clinic/POD on October 10th. We wanted to invite our Service Area 5 LPH partners to participate or come out and view the POD. We will be utilizing a drive through POD model to practice our POD plans, and prepare our MRC and LPH staff on POD operations to improve readiness for COVID-19 vaccination PODS. If anyone is interested, they can reach out to me.

Nebraska Medicine and UNMC are working on a National Infection Control Strengthening (NICS) project that is focused on improving the general knowledge and capabilities for infection prevention and control (IPC) in small and rural healthcare facilities. Nebraska DHHS in association with the Nebraska ICAP team would address situation updates and essential information on COVID-19 specific to Critical Access Hospitals and also Outpatient Facilities.
