Hospital Alliance for Preparedness in Iowa…this grass-roots, statewide, voluntary effort has demonstrated its value time after time, during multiple Joint Commission hospital surveys, CMS site reviews and during real events that have required a collaborative hospital approach. It has filled a critical void over the past 5-6 years as healthcare preparedness in Iowa has experienced growing pains as it has strived to align with the preparedness vision established by DHHS/ASPR.

The bottom line is that we freely help each other in our quest to achieve an optimum state of readiness for our institutions and our state, without regard to healthcare system affiliation, facility size or location.
