Course Description:
This 1.25 hour IN-PERSON ONLY Bomb-Making Materials Awareness Program (BMAP) Retail Explosives Awareness Prevention and Reporting (REAPR) Briefing is intended for attendees familiar with retail sales and the products sold by their respective employer. The topic areas for this briefing include: - A general introduction to IEDs - Examples of bomb-making materials (BMM) that are commonly sold in retail stores - Categories of explosive precursor chemicals (EPCs) and examples of products sold in retail stores - Examples of explosive powders and exploding target materials commonly sold in retail stores - Suspicious combinations of items - General types of BMM and EPCs sold by store groupings - Suspicious behavior related to the lawful

Course Target Audience:
Retail and corporate employees involved in online or point-of-sale customer service, sales, security, loss prevention or any other type of retail outreach. Examples include and are not limited to: Feed manufacturers, farm supply stores, hardware stores, grain bins, hydraulic equipment sales, pharmacies, fertilizer sales, grocers, water treatment, truck dealers, electronic equipment, etc.
Additional Information:
1) Enter through the main entrance on the east side of the facility near the flags. 2) A photo ID is required. 3) Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow enough time to go through security prior to the start of the briefing. 4) Lodging and mileage reimbursements are not authorized. 5) Meals are on your own.
