Description: The Polk County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is hosting a single-day conference to focus on information that personnel in local industry and businesses may find helpful in their disaster preparedness and recovery planning. Information will be presented in three learning tracks (Disaster Preparedness, Specialized Topics and Disaster Recovery) for a total of 15 topics, plus panel discussions focused on industry and businesses emergency response. Gain knowledge from experts, develop networks and build skills to better prepare your business and improve your recovery time after the next disaster.

Target Audience: Hazmat personnel, Emergency Management staff, emergency responders, local businesses, public/private entities, school, hospitals, universities, non-profits

1) FREE admission: seating is limited to 150, please make every effort to attend or find a replacement if you are unable to attend.
