Sheltering Bootcamp Training With the Red Cross

American Red Cross disaster shelter volunteers are trained and assigned to work in-person in a Red Cross shelter before, during or after a disaster event. Our bootcamps are a great opportunity for volunteers interested in responding to disasters both locally and nationally.
Training Courses Offered:
1. Disaster Cycle Services: An Overview (1 hour)
2. Everyone is Welcome (45 mins)
3. Shelter Fundamentals v2 (1 hour)
4. Deployment Fundamentals for Responders Traveling Away from Home (31 mins)
5. Mission Cards – Cardholder Overview (14 mins)
*NOTE: All courses above can be taken on-line if you are unable to attend in-person.
