We recommend all new staff and current staff who have not taken the course in the past three or four years participate.

Basic Epidemiology is a prerequisite for Advanced Epidemiology. If you have not taken Basic Epidemiology, it is an online course. It can be found at the Prepare Iowa website at http://prepareiowa.training-source.org/ Search for Basic Epi in the course offerings. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one. Once at the site, please search for Basic Epidemiology. Please print the certificate when you are done for your training records.
